Work on Duror in full swing
In mid-July, we started another scheme in Scotland.
This middle sized hydropower plant has the head 165 m, installed capacity will be 320 kW and annual output
1 210 MWh will be carried out by Pelton turbine.
Scheme is located in Appin, a coastal district of the Scottish West Highlands. It uses the water of three rivers and 10 small burns flowing into Duror River, 3 major intakes and additional 10 minor intakes. Power house and intake are underway and are planned to be finished up to December 2020, penstock 2 346 m is in preparation.
The whole construction is planned to be finished by the end of January 2021.
