Project review
The Kalimanci hydropower plant was built during the development of irrigation schemes in the central plateau in FYR Macedonia. The power plant suffered from very low efficiency results since its first commissioning in 1971.
The complex rehabilitation covered installation of new turbine runners and auxiliary equipment, new governors and valves, automation and substation, and overhaul of the original generator.
Provided services
HYDROPOL was responsible for complex research, study and design, specifications, contracting and legal framework. It also provided full project management, site and quality supervision and commissioning.
